Sonic CS+ – Chairside made easy
The Sonic CS+ brings 3D printing directly into the dental practice. Its industrial 385 nm LCD focuses light with exceptional precision, enabling reproducible results with fine edges, smooth surfaces, and reliable fits. The chamber and resin vat heating stabilize process conditions, the integrated air purifier reduces odors, and the fully enclosed design protects the mechanics from resin splashes.
In everyday clinical practice, this means that splints (e.g. occlusal/night guards), provisionals, or surgical guides can be produced in a single-visit workflow. After CAD design, the data are prepared for printing and started using validated, open resin profiles—the availability and compatibility of these profiles depend on the respective resin manufacturer. Post-processing is then carried out in the WASH+ and final curing in the Cure V2.
The CS+ can be operated with two build configurations:
Mini Kit (build volume 7.0 × 7.0 × 17.5 cm, vat volume approx. 150 ml):
Ideal for single parts and urgent jobs. Requires less resin and allows faster cleaning of the build platform and vat.
Standard Kit (build volume 16.5 × 7.1 × 17.5 cm, vat volume approx. 350 ml):
Designed for printing multiple parts simultaneously or larger print jobs—for example, several splints or models in one run.
